Between October 23rd and November 7th, Hugh Esco, host of Breaking the Overton Window live-tweeted the hearings in the matter of BCCNM vs Amy Eileen Hamm. The College prosecuted its case in the early Summer of this year. The Defense did not have an opportunity to present their case until this Fall. Over the course of these ten days of hearings, counsel for the defense examined and the College (usually) cross examined) Dr. James Cantor(nearly two days to qualify him as an expert witness, plus two days of testimony) , Amy Eileen Hamm (roughly three days on the stand), Dr. Kathrine Stock (a day on the stand) and Dr. (Coach) Linda Blade (the final, short day). Closing arguments will be made by written submissions, due January 26th from the College, February 16th from the Defense and February 23rd from the College. In addition, hearings will be scheduled at a later date for oral submissions as closing arguments, with each party afforded three hours.
